GRAHAM KEARNEY Graham Kearney is one of South Africa’s most promising artists. Graham has always loved art and from an early age he displayed a talent far beyond his years. At the age of about 15 it became evident that he was a highly gifted artist and at 16 he exhibited works for the first time together with several well known artists including Richard Rennie. At 17 he was commissioned by Southern Sun to do two montages for Zululand Tree Lodge and Tau Game Lodge. His last two years of school were combined between schoolwork, exhibitions and private commissions some of which hang in London. 1995 – 1996 he exhibited at the Wildlife Expo in Durban where he donated a painting to raise funds for an animal welfare group. During the matric year he received the Prestigious Rotary Youth Award for Contribution to the Community for the conservation. Besides working full time as wildlife artist, he has become sought after as a portrait artist and teaches art.
