MICHAEL ALBERTYN Born in Kimberly, Cape Province in 1939 He received lessons from a famous local artist and started his painting career in 1957 at the age of 17. He joined the army for four years, during that period he was given a room which he turned into a studio. He became well known in his camp. He quitted the army after he made more money and started a professional art career. He had many exhibitions at various art galleries throughout South Africa and all his paintings were sold. He sold many painting also in USA, Australia and in England. He has contracts with art galleries in Florida and California (USA).
